In 1914 the great war started and raged on taking a terrible toll on the soldiers and their families. How ever the war did not end in 1918, it continued on with neither side making any ground against the other. Resources began to run dry, food and clean water went first but the battles continued.
Eventually raw material began to run out, metals were in short supply, forests had either been cut down or burned out by fires from the bombing, the soldiers started to turn on each other in hopes of surviving another day. Soon factions began to form and to survive they needed to start mining for materials, digging wells and creating makeshift places to live.

It turned from a world war to one fought on many fronts with enemies on all sides in a fight for survival as rival factions began raiding the hard earned resources of others.
